Meet our Speaker:
Diane Humphrey Lueck
Diane Humphrey Lueck is a naturalist and educator who lives on the glacial moraine in Waushara County. She retired from UW-Stevens Point in 2024, after 49 years at UWSP. Lueck taught in the College of Natural Resources for 18 years. Previous to that she was the International Director for the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program, an educational experience that teaches introductory outdoor skills.
Lueck serves on the Waushara County Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance and the Women of WWOA committee of Wisconsin Woodland Owners Association. She is Board Emerita for the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin, and served on the national board of Pheasants Forever among other committees and organizations. Diane’s favorite pastimes are hiking and quilting.
