Description: Join NCCT at our Office Open House Event on Saturday, August 22nd, at 301 West Cedar Street, Stevens Point, WI 54481. We will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5:30 PM to showcase our newly renovated office space. We will then unveil our new business sign that was constructed entirely by volunteers out of donated materials. We will also have special presentations honoring the individuals who have done some excellent work for NCCT during this time. After the ceremony and special presentations are over, the office and grounds will be open to exploring as long as everyone is practicing safe social distancing procedures. During this time, we will also announce the winners of the conservation easement landowner photo contest and display all the photos on an outdoor projection screen. At around 7:00 PM, we will be airing the Discover Wisconsin’s Land Trust Days Episode that came out in June. The episode will be shown outdoors in our parking lot; this way, everyone may sit in their vehicles or bring lawn chairs to enjoy the episode while still social distancing. There will be some final remarks, and the office open house event will officially close at 8:00 PM.
Admission is free to this event and open to the public.
We encourage people planning to attend to please bring a mask to wear to ensure their own safety and the safety of our other supporters and staff.
