The 160-acre property, located in Aniwa, WI, contains mixed hardwood-conifer forest, wetlands, and 3,000 feet of frontage on the Eau Claire River. One area is known as “The Three Rolls”, where the river goes over a series of three granite ledges. The Mumford Preserve encompasses outstanding and diverse natural communities that provide habitat for a wide variety of fish, plants, and wildlife.

Sign along Hwy 52. Follow the gravel access road towards Mumford Preserve.
Access road from Hwy 52 towards Mumford Preserve. Drive past the yellow signs, but please stay on gravel access road. Drive down access road until you reach the Mumford Preserve gate, then proceed to Mumford Preserve parking area.
