Do you have a special skill that could offer a creative form of volunteer support for NCCT? Let us know! Volunteer opportunities are for everyone!
Easement Monitoring

NCCT conservation easement properties are monitored once per year to ensure they remain protected. Volunteers help conduct these annual monitoring visits.
Habitat Restoration

NCCT conducts restoration activities at all of our nature preserves, year round. Volunteers help with invasive species removal, native plantings, and accessibility improvements like trail maintenance.
Educational Hikes

Volunteers may lead or facilitate educational hikes and outreach opportunities throughout the year. NCCT hosts events at our nature preserves and conservation easements. Volunteers help to make sure these events run smoothly for everyone.
Community Events

Help spread the word about the importance of our conservation mission! This is critical to making a difference in our local communities and providing an opportunity for anyone and everyone to get involved! If you like helping with planning, organizing, and hosting events, please let us know!
Property Liaisons

Property liaisons take a leadership role in helping to steward our Preserve properties. They check in on the properties throughout the year and help guide management at these special places. They also assist with maintaining our office and grounds.
Board & Committees

Board and Committee members help set the direction of NCCT. They ensure the conservation mission is reflected in all of NCCT’s activities. NCCT has a Board of Directors and Committees for Stewardship, Finance, Properties, Public Relations, and Fundraising.
